The definitive guide to skiing and snow boarding on real snow with real ski lifts
in the mountains of Cumbria, Northumberland and County Durham

Yad Moss

Lottery funding has allowed the facilities at Yad Moss to be upgraded and the results are impressive. The longest lift in England and a brand new daylodge mean that Yad Moss now rivals Swinhope as England's premiere ski mountain. Long wide slopes and varied terrain are ideal for boarders and skiers alike. The long lift and fairly steep slopes make this mountain less suitable for beginners. Not to worry - you can always abandon them in the excellent new daylodge facilities. The smooth grassy slopes are just waiting for a dusting of snow.
